Once created, a trading partner can be updated at any time to update general information, change default pricing formulas or or include the shop's customer number from your DMS.
The following can be configured or modified in the Trading Partner Details window:
| Option | Description |
| Trading Partner Status: | This Shop Access Controls feature gives you the ability to limit parts information presented to specific shops/buyers. You can allow full access (the default setting when a trading partner is added); hide part numbers from their view; or disable their ability to order from you. |
| General Information: |
Up to four salespersons (one primary and three backups) can be assigned. Once a salesperson is assigned and RepairLink has updated, they can see parts orders from that shop/buyer. Note: RepairLink will need to sync overnight before the salesperson can see new orders on their Overview window. The salesperson will not be able to see orders received before the sync process. Choose or modify the selected Pricing Formula that establishes the discounted price the shop/buyer sees for the parts they purchase from your dealership. The taxes and fees functionality allows you to set a sales tax percentage rate for RepairLink orders or customize the tax percentage for individual buyers. |
| Default Pricing Formulas: |
Set up or modify the unique discount levels for each trading partner by manufacturer. Note: If manufacturer pricing formulas are selected, they will be used instead of the overall Pricing Formula set up for the shop/buyer in the General Information section. Trade-based pricing formulas can be added as the Default Pricing Formula for Audi Canada, GM U.S. & Canada, Volkswagen Canada, Chrysler U.S. & Canada, Ford Canada, Infiniti Canada, Nissan Canada, and Toyota U.S. & Canada. |
| Seller Defined Fields: | Add customer-specific information for custom seller-defined fields you can create in RepairLink for trading partner accounts. |
| Inventory Visibility: | Configure how you want display inventory information (Show QOH or text labels--"In Stock" or "Available") to be display to the shop/buyer. |
