Once a dealer promotion has been created, you can quickly modify it at any time. Note: If you need to cancel a promotion early, change the Promotion End Date.
To edit your dealer promotions:
- From the RepairLink tab, click Promotion Setup.
- You will navigate to a list of all promotions.
- To edit an active or pending promotion, click the
icon. Note: Expired promotions cannot be edited. - From the Edit Promotion window, make the necessary changes. Notes:
- The OEM (manufacturer) cannot be changed in a saved promotion.
- The Promotion End Date may be changed. The promotion will run until the end of the date selected. It cannot be cancelled earlier in the day.
- Click on the + to add parts to a promotion manually or by uploading a list. Parts can not be deleted from a saved promotion.
- Note for Mercedes-Benz: Be sure to only enter the core part number, removing any prefixes. (For example, to add part number A0004230184, exclude the A in the beginning.)
- Parts can not be deleted from a saved promotion. If you click on the
icon, the Include ALL parts in promotion box will be selected automatically. - Once a promotion is saved with the Include ALL parts in promotion box checked, it cannot be unchecked.
- To change your selection in of dollar value or percentage, delete the values in the boxes and they will become available for editing.
- The OEM (manufacturer) cannot be changed in a saved promotion.
- Click Save. Your updated promotion will now display on the Dealer Promotions window.
