Clicking the Respond To Buyer button at the bottom of the Order Details tab will send the body shop an update on the status of the order. The shop will be able to see:
- What parts they will be invoiced.
- The list cost (MSRP) and the shop’s cost (list plus/minus) for each part.
- Invoice numbers and available dates if selected by the dealer.
Information added to the Response to Buyer section can be saved without responding to the shop (using the Save button). On the CollisionLink tab, the Status will display as Responded to Buyer* (with an asterisk). This indicates changes have been made to the order, but no updates were sent to the shop.
