Assigning Salespeople
To assign a salesperson or backups:
- Verify General Information is selected from the I want to manage drop-down.
- Click the Dealership Salesperson drop-down to assign a salesperson to the shop. Once a salesperson is assigned, they can see parts orders from that shop.
- If desired, use the Backup to Salesperson drop-downs (shown above) to select up to three backup salespeople for a shop. Note: The salesperson will only be able to see new orders received after they are added as a backup.
Adding Pricing Formulas
List- or cost-based pricing formulas can be set up to automatically apply discounts to OE and non-OE parts sent by the shop and ensure shops see accurate prices for the parts they purchase from your dealership.
CollisionLink allows you to add three types of pricing:
- On the General Information window, use the Pricing Formula drop-down to assign a discount formula that you want to automatically apply to OE parts that the shop/trading partner orders.
- On the General Information window, use the Non-OE Estimate List Pricing formula drop-down to assign a formula that you want to automatically apply to the list price of non-OE parts submitted by the shop/trading partner. Note: Discounts are based on the non-OE price from the shop estimate.
- On the Default Pricing Formulas window, use the Default Pricing Formula section to set up unique discount levels for each trading partner by OEM. The default pricing formula overrides the trading partner pricing formula if one is selected.
If the pricing you want to select is not displayed on the drop-down, you will need to add it to CollisionLink first. (Click here for more information on adding pricing formulas.)
Displaying Upfront Pricing
Upfront pricing formulas allow you to display competitive part prices for non-OE specified parts to your CollisonLink buyers before they ask for a quote. (Click here for more information on adding upfront pricing formulas.)
To display upfront pricing to a shop:
- On the General Information window, use the Upfront PMA Part Pricing Formula drop-down to apply pricing to non-OE specified parts that qualify for a manufacturer sponsored reimbursement program.
