If you receive a PartsTrader transaction that you are unable to fulfill, you must decline the transaction in CollisionLink. Declining an order in CollisionLink will reject the transaction in PartsTrader.
It is important to respond to every PartsTrader transaction. If you cannot supply the parts, follow the instructions below to decline the transaction.
To reject/decline a PartsTrader transaction:
- From the CollisionLink tab, double click on the transaction you wish to decline.
- The PartsTrader Order Details window will display. Click the Cancel/Decline button at the bottom of the window.
- The Decline Order window will display. Click OK to decline the transaction or click Archive to decline the transaction and archive it at the same time.
- Declining/rejecting a transaction will delete the PartsTrader transaction. The Status of the transaction in CollisionLink will change to Order Declined.
