Ford Canada releases orders every hour throughout the day (Monday - Friday). Orders are released simultaneously to all dealers. The dealer who commits to the order first gets the sale. Ford pays the dealer via their daily parts notification. Payment questions can be directed to contact Jeff Burdick (D.A.) at jburdick@ford.com. Ford pays the Purolator shipping costs and cost plus 10%.
Notes:
- Once an order has been committed, you cannot cancel the order or stop the sale. If the order is not processed, it will automatically be canceled at the end of the day. This will change the Status to Auto Cancelled.
- If you do not have a regular scheduled pickup with Purolator, you will need to call 1-888-SHIP-123 (1-888-744-7123) to schedule a pickup, or drop off the package at a Purolator location.
To process a Ford D2D Express order:
- There are several ways to get to the D2D Express opportunity window.
- When new opportunities arrive, a D2D Express real-time notification displays in the upper right-hand corner of any window. Click the notification to access the D2D Express Overview.

On the D2DLink console window, under D2D Express Opportunities, click on View All.

- Review your current opportunities on the Available tab.
Notes:- The tab notification badge shows how many opportunities you have available.
- If needed, use the Filter by OEM option to locate transactions for one or more OEMs.

- Verify that you have the part in stock, then click Commit for the offer you want to accept.
- If you are the first dealer to respond to the order, it will automatically be moved to the Committed tab. Once you have committed to the sale, you must complete the shipment on the same day. Otherwise, you will lose the sale.
- When ready, go to the Committed tab to set up shipping for your orders.
- Click Ship to begin the shipping process.
Note: From this tab, you can also click the down arrow in the Details column to view more information about the order or click Stop Sale to cancel it. - The Shipment Information window will open. Confirm the order details. Note: To cancel the order from here, you can click Stop Sale.
- Scroll down to the Shipment Information section.
- Type the Shipment Weight, and the package Height, Width, and Length.
- When ready, click Add.
- If there are multiple shipments in the order, repeat steps 9-10 in the new package row to add another package. Note: To edit any of the package information you previously added, click the edit icon (
).
- Once all the shipping information has been confirmed and entered, click Submit.
- Click Yes to confirm the shipment.
- Once your shipment is complete, please schedule a pickup with Purolator for the next business day or use your regularly scheduled pickup to ship the package, if applicable.
- To print the shipping label, click the print Label icon (
). Note: A tracking number will be assigned to the shipment. You have 24 hours to ship your package.
- The Purolator shipping label will display in a new tab. Print the label for the shipment, then close the tab when ready to return to D2D Express.
- This will return you to the Confirmed tab in D2D Express.
On this tab, you can:-
Edit the shipping information, if allowed by your carrier: Click the pencil icon (

From here you can:
- Go to the Available tab to review any new orders or confirm more orders.
- Go to the Committed tab to set up shipping for more orders.
