Adding a Distributor to the D2DLink Replenishment Tool

Dealers can quickly add or remove distributors they work with. Share stocking guides with your distributors to allow them to view stocking levels and update your replenishment schedule.

Adding a Distributor

Notes:

• You can add up to 30 distributors.
• AC Delco distributors cannot be added as distributors. Dealers should order from AC Delco distributors through D2D, the same as any other dealer order.

To add a distributor:   

1. From the D2DLink Tasks menu, click My Distributors.  
2. From the My Distributors window, click Update Distributors.
   
3. Type your search details (Distributor name, City, State, Zip Code).
   
4. Click Search. Your Search Results will display below.  
5. Click the OEM name (click All for all OEMs) to add the distributor.
   
6. The new distributor will display on the My Distributors window.  
7. Configure the following options for your new distributor: 
     
   • PO#: Type a purchase order number that will be used for all orders sent to the distributor. (Not a required field.)  
   • Distributor Access: Allow distributors to view the replenishment details and current inventory levels of parts assigned to them.  
   • Customer Pick Up: Allow customers to pick up part orders.  
   • Replenishment Schedule: Set the time (nightly or a schedule of your choosing) when part re-orders will be placed.  

Note: If clicking the SKUs Assigned field displays the message “There are no results to display”, this indicates that a tire previously setup is no longer replenishable. As a result, it will no longer appear in the Stocking Guide to be edited. If the tire becomes replenishable again in the future, it will automatically reappear in your Stocking Guide and can be setup as needed.

Removing a Distributor

To remove a distributor:

If you no longer receive parts from a distributor, it can be removed from your Replenishment Tool. Note: If you remove a distributor, you will need to reassign the parts to other distributors.

1. From the D2DLink Tasks menu, click My Distributors.
2. From the My Distributors window, click Update Distributors.
   
3. Locate the distributor you wish to remove.
4. Click the OEM that you do not want the distributor to provide parts for.
   -or-
   Click All to completely remove the distributor from the list.
   
5. When finished, click the X in the upper right-hand corner of the Update Distributors window to close.
