Viewing Notes from a D2DLink Buyer

Dealers who are looking for parts from other dealers have the ability to locate and create orders in D2DLink. On occasion, buyers may add notes or comments with the order. Notes can be accessed from the D2DLink Overview or within the Order Details window.

Whenever a new note is received within D2DLink, the following alert will display:

To view new notes, simply click the Attachment column header to sort and display the most recent notes at the top. A green dot  will indicate when a new note has arrived.

To view notes from the D2DLink Overview window:

1. Open the D2DLink Sales order:
   • From the D2DLink tab, click Overview. If Sales does not display in the Show Me box, select it from the drop-down.
     
   • From the My Orders section of the D2DLink Console, click Sales.
     
2. The eCommerce orders will display on the D2DLink Overview. Any sales transaction with a note included will have a Note link in the Attachment column. Note: A green dot indicates that a new, unread note has been added by the buyer.
   
3. Click Note link to open the Info Center window. The buyer's comments will display on the Notes tab. Note: Type your response/comments in the provided text box and click Add Note to respond to the buyer.
   
4. When finished, click the X in the upper right-hand corner of the Info Center window to close.

To view notes from the Order Details window:

1. If you double-click on a sales order on the D2DLink Overview, the details of the selected transaction display. Click on Info Center and then select Notes.
   
2. Click on the Notes tab to view the buyer's comments. Note: Type your response/comments in the provided text box and click Add Note to respond to the buyer.
   
3. When finished, click the X in the upper right-hand corner of the Info Center window to close.
