DMS Connect Functionality in CollisionLink for MyPriceLink Dealers

KB Article #4815

DMS Connect is an add-on solution that streamlines order process by integrating OEC with a dealer’s DMS. If a MyPriceLink user subscribes to DMS Connect:

  • MyPriceLink users will see their real-time Quantity On Hand (QOH) from their DMS.

  • MyPriceLink users can manually refresh QOH at any time (by clicking the Refresh QOH button) while the order is open. Note: This only refreshes QOH and will not change the sell price.

  • When a CollisionLink transaction is opened, DMS Connect checks to see if it can retrieve the sell price from the DMS. (List price will be generated by MyPriceLink.)
    • If so, the DMS-based sell price will added to the CollisionLink transaction.
    • If the DMS has a $0 list, CollisionLink will base sell price on the MyPriceLink pricing engine and Trading Partner rules established by the dealer. These parts will be identified through the notification bar.
  • The Export to DMS button will display at the bottom of the CollisionLink transaction. (The Create DMS Quote option will still be available in RepairLink, D2DLink, D2D Express, and MarketplaceDirect.)

    • Real-time QOH
