PSXLink: Using the FordParts.com Dealer Dashboard

The Dealer Dashboard allows you to quickly view details of both the orders you've received through FordParts.com as well as the buyers making these purchases. Note: The FordParts.com Dealer Dashboard is only available to dealers that have a current FordParts subscription.

Accessing Your Dashboard

To view your FordParts.com Dealer Dashboard:  

  1. Click the PSXLink tab from the OEC Portal menu.

  2. From the PSXLink tab, choose FordParts from the Dashboards drop-down menu.
  3. Select your preferred Date range. (By default, all available data--from the first of the current month and the previous 12 months--will display.)

  4. If desired, use the following drop-downs to narrow the information displayed:

    1. State  
    2. City  
    3. Customer Name    
  5. The reports will automatically update based on any selections made. Click the Clear Selections (ClearSelection__3_.jpg) button to reset the drop-down. (This will display when you move your mouse over the data field.)

Dealer Dashboard Report Information

The FordParts.com Dealer Dashboard will display the following high-level details of your business:

  1. FordParts Sales: The total buyer net cost on all invoiced orders.
  2. Completed Orders: The total number of orders with a Status of Completed - Paid, Completed, or Completed - Payment Failed.
  3. Dealer Orders: The total number of orders that were fulfilled by your dealership. 
  4. Depot Orders: The total number of orders that were fulfilled by a Ford Depot Warehouse on behalf of your dealership.
  5. Average Response Time (Hours): The average time (in business hours) between when an order was received in FordParts and your dealership responded. Note: This includes any parts on back order.

Beneath that, the following reports will display:

  1. Sales by Buyer Segment: Shows the comparison between sales made to businesses and sales made to consumers (based on customer type).

    Customer Types are divided as follows:

      1. Collision Repair Shop = B2B
      2. Commercial Fleet = B2B
      3. Do It Yourselfer = B2C
      4. Government Fleet = B2B
      5. Guest = B2C
      6. Independent Repair Shop = B2B
      7. Jobber = B2B
      8. Other = B2C
      9. Warehouse Distributor = B2B
  2. Open Orders Status: The breakdown of all your FordParts orders that have not been completed.

    Orders are divided into the following statuses: 
    1. Open Orders: The roll-up total for all orders that have a FordParts Status of New, Received, or Processing.
    2. Received: The total of all orders that have a FordParts Status of Received.
    3. New: The total of all orders that have a FordParts Status of New.
    4. Processing: The total of all orders that have a FordParts Status of Processing
    5. Need Payment: The total of all orders that have a FordParts Status of Processing - Pending Payment, Processing - Payment Requested, or Completed - Payment Failed
  3. Top 10 Selling Parts Ordered: The 10 parts your dealership sold the most during the specified timeframe.

    This dashboard will display the following details:
    1. Part Number: The Ford part number. 
    2. Orders: The total number of orders.
    3. Buyer Cost: The total invoiced price for the part. 
  4. Top 10 Selling Categories: The 10 categories of parts your dealership sold the most during the specified timeframe.

    This dashboard will display the following details:
    1. MPL: The Market Parts Line.
    2. MLI: The Market Line Indicator.
    3. Orders: The total quantity of parts ordered.
    4. Sales: The total invoiced price for parts within this category on invoiced orders. 
  5. Top 10 Customers: The customers who purchased the most parts (by dollar value) during the specified timeframe.

    This dashboard will display the following details:
    1. Customer Name: The name of the buyer (individual or business).
    2. Sales: The total dollar value of parts invoiced to the buyer.  
  6. Customer Performance: Details each customer's interaction with your dealership.

    This dashboard will display the following details:
    1. Customer Name: The name of the buyer (individual or business).
    2. Orders: The total number of orders for the customers with a Status of Completed - Paid, Completed, or Completed - Payment Failed
    3. Sales: The total dollar value of parts invoiced to that buyer. 
    4. Trend: Sales for the last 30 days compared to sales for the previous 60 days.
