The Preferences drop-down provides administrative users the opportunity to set and manage preferences for their account.

There are five options to choose from within the Preferences drop-down menu:

General

The General section allows you to set some general preferences for your account.

There are seven tabs to choose from within the General section:

  • Alert Column: Use this to set an alert if an Active Client goes so many days between placing orders (e.g. display a "!" value when a customer's last order is more than two days ago).
  • Internal Customer Accounts: Use this to set multiple customer accounts to inactive in bulk, rather than one at a time.
  • CRM Follow-up Type Manager: Create CRM follow-up types (e.g. ASAPCall, Email, Text) that users can choose from.
  • CRM Flex Field Manager: Create and manage the flex fields that can display in the CRM.
  • Prospect Status Type Manager: Create and manage the status types that can appear when creating a new Sales Prospect (e.g. Plan, Ask, Resolve, Transact).
  • Prospect Brand Manager: Create and manage the brands that can appear when creating a new Sales Prospect.
  • Monthly Sales Goals: Set sales goals that appear throughout PSXLink.

OEM Manager

This section allows you to map manufacturer designations for various part numbers (right column) to the corresponding OE brand name (left column).

Account Manager

This section allows you to exclude sales information of specific wholesale-designated accounts set up in your DMS.

  • The Remove Acct option hides the account's sales from PSXLink functions and reports.
  • The Hide on Reports option blocks the account from being included in Activity Report searches, but allows the account's sales to remain in the data grids.

Across the top is a menu you can use to drill down to find specific accounts.
