OEC: Forgot Your Username or Password

Users that have forgotten their OEC login credentials have the ability to retrieve their username and reset their password. Note: In order to complete these steps, you will need access to the email address associated with this username.

If you do not have an account for OEC, contact your administrator to have one created.

Note: Users will see the following message if they do not enter both a username and password on the OEC login window:

If a dealer clicks Login three times without entering both a Username and Password, the following message will display:

Users must fill in both the Username and Password boxes to launch the username recovery workflow.

To retrieve your username:

1. If you have entered both a Username and a Password, the following message will display (You must enter both a Username and Password.):
   
2. Click the Click here link.
3. Type the email address associated with your username in the box provided.
   
4. Click Submit.
5. A confirmation message will display and an email will be sent to the address associated with this username. Click Return to Login Page.
   
6. Open your email application to retrieve the email. If you do not receive the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate, please contact Customer Support at 888-776-5792, option 2 for assistance.
   
7. Use the username contained in the email to log into OEC. (Click here if you need to reset your password.)

To reset your password.

1. From the OEC login window, type your Username in the provided box. 
2. Click Forgot password.
   
3. An email will be sent to the address associated with this username.
   
4. Open your email application to retrieve the email. If you do not receive the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate, please contact Customer Support at 888-776-5792, option 2 for assistance.
5. Click the password reset link contained in the email--or copy and paste the link into Internet Explorer. This link will expire three hours after being sent.
   
6. The Reset Password window will display. Type your new password in the Enter a new password and Re-enter the new password boxes.
   
   Passwords must:
   • Contain only letters and numbers.
   • Include at least one number.
   • Be 4 to 20 alphanumeric characters long.
7. Click Save. You will automatically be logged into OEC.
