Resolving ConsumerLink Pro Issues with Multiple PayPal Payments per Invoice

KB Article #5642

PayPal prevents customers from making multiple payments to the same invoice as a method of fraud prevention. This safety feature can interfere in cases where additional funds are needed beyond the initial invoice, such as for shipping costs for exceptionally large items.

To allow multiple payments per invoice per customer:

  1. Log into PayPal with the PayPal account you have assigned to your website.
  2. Click the gear/profile icon in the upper, right-hand corner of the window.
  3. Click Profile and Settings.

Note: If you do not see the Gear icon as shown above, click My Business Setup under the My Account Tools section.
