Creating DMS Quotes with D2DLink

With DMS Connect, dealers can virtually eliminate data entry by creating DMS quotes directly from the D2DLink sales order—including parts, customer information, and pricing. 

To create a quote using DMS Connect:  

  1. From the Order Details window, click DMS Connect and then click Refresh Pricing and Availability from the drop-down. Note: Failure to complete this step will result in an error when attempting to create your quote.

  2. Click DMS Connect and then click Create Quote from the drop-down menu.

  3. The Create Quote window will open. If needed, change the Counter Person ID.

  4. The Send Pricing box will be unchecked, to keep the existing pricing information. Check the box to send the new shop cost to your DMS.     
  5. Click OK. If needed, you can edit a DMS Connect quote. (DMS Connect invoices are not editable.)
