Viewing your Inventory Status:

The D2DLink Console tab displays the current status of your inventory, including:

  • The number of times your dealership has appeared in Locator search results on the previous day.
  • The last date and time that inventory information was received by OEC.
  • The total number of parts that are displaying on the Locator.

Keeping your inventory up to date and accurate ensures that you reach the largest audience on the Locator-maximizing your sales. OEC provides you with the following details to verify your inventory information is current:

  • Last DMS Update: Publishing your inventory daily ensures Locator users can see accurate parts counts and prevents you from receiving orders that cannot be filled. If today's date does not display, you will need to submit your current inventory to OEC.
  • Parts on Locator: This number should match the total number of parts listed within your DMS. (Use the Download option to view your most recent inventory posting.) If this number displays 0, you will need to resubmit your inventory to OEC.

To ensure your customers are seeing a complete and accurate view of your inventory, it is recommended that you send your inventory to OEC every day. Is your inventory out of date? Check the following:

  • Have you recently changed DMS providers? If yes, OEC must be notified of the change in order to start receiving your new feed.
  • Do you send inventory information directly to OEC? If yes, this is a manual process that requires you to send inventory to OEC daily.
  • Do you have an automated inventory feed? If yes, verify that no changes have been made to your feed.
