D2DLink: Buying on Locator Setup

The Buying on Locator Setup options allow you to configure the way D2DLink automatically process your Locator orders, including adding your preferred dealers as favorites.

To update your Locator Buyer options:

1. From the D2DLink tab, click Application Setup.
   
2. Click Buying on Locator.
   
3. The following options can be configured:
   1. Locate Settings: If you tend to use the Locator feature to search for parts belonging to a specific OEM, you can quickly set this as your default. (Click here for more information.)
   2. eCommerce Settings: Controls the shipping address as well as shipping and payment methods for orders. To update:
      1. Type your shipping address in the Ship to Address fields.
         
      2. Select your Shipping Method from the drop-down. (Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, DHL, Airborne Express, Dealer Delivery, Customer Pickup, and Purolator are the available options.)
         
      3. Select your Payment Method from the drop-down. (Cash On Delivery, Bill my existing account, Request an account be setup, Pay on receipt, and Call for credit card are the available options.)
         
      4. Click Save.
   3. Favorites: Add your preferred dealers to a Favorites list. When you do a part locate, your favorite dealers will display first on the Parts Results window. (Click here for more information.)
4. When complete, click the Back button at the top of the left-hand navigation menu to close.
