Managing Your Backordered Parts List (Distributor)

KB Article #1946

Tires that are currently on backorder can be added to a Distributor's Backordered Parts list. Use this list to ensure your dealers are aware of part orders that cannot be immediately filled. Dealers will see a status of "backordered" on parts that are not currently in stock. Once a tire is back in stock, it can be removed from the Backordered Parts list. (Click here for more information on removing a part from the Backordered Parts list.)

To add a part to the backordered list:

  1. From D2DLink, click Backordered Parts.
  2. If needed, click Change and select the appropriate OEM from the drop-down list.

  6. Parts will display as Backordered when filling orders. (Click here for more information on filling orders.) Once a part is added to the Backordered list, all unfilled orders with the part will display the new status.

  7. Additionally, a dealer will then be able to see the part is backordered within D2DLink.
