Updating a Manual List in the D2DLink Parts List Manager

When updating a manual parts list, it is recommended that you export and review your existing parts list before you make changes. Once you have made changes, you can quickly update the manual list within Parts List Manager.

Keep in mind the following when updating a manual parts list: 

• To view/edit this file, you will need a program that can edit CSV (comma-separated value) files. (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc)
• Always use the Replace Parts option when reimporting your parts list.

To update a manual list:

1. From D2DLink, click Parts List Manager. The Parts List Manager window displays.
2. Use the My Parts Lists For drop-down to select the OEM. Your parts lists display.
   
3. Locate the list you wish to update and then click the Edit () button next to the list you wish to update. The List Details window displays.
4. Click the  button next to the My Manual List criteria.
5. Click View My Manual List.
   
6. Your browser will prompt you to Open or Save the file. (This message will look different depending on the browser that you use.) Click Open.
7. The exported file will display. Delete the first two rows of the spreadsheet. (List Name and the column beneath.) Note: Delete the entire row (by highlighting) and not just the data in these rows.
   
8. Add or delete parts as needed.
9. Save the file as a CSV (Comma delimited) file type. 
   
10. Return to the Parts List Manager and click the Edit () button next to the list you wish to update. The List Details window will display.
11. Click the  button next to the My Manual List criteria.
12. Click Browse. Use the browser window to locate the file, click to select, and then click Open. The file will display in the Upload Parts List window.
    
13. Click Replace Parts.
    
14. Click Apply this Criteria.
    
15. The new list will automatically replace the contents of your existing list. Click OK.
    
16. You will return to the parts list page. Your updated list will display at the top of the Parts List Manager grid. Additionally, a green checkmark displays and will include information about discount you applied to the list, the number of parts in the list, and a link to export the list.
    
    
    • Changes on Parts List Manger should reflect right away, but it may take several minutes for changes to reflect on the D2DLink Locator.
