Use the D2D Express Settings to tailor the solution to meet your business needs.
To set up cutoff times for your time zone:
The Weekday Cutoff Time is the last time you can accept a delivery and still ship the part the same day. The default time is 11:59 P.M. on weekdays and weekends.
- From the D2D Express tab, click Application Setup.
- Click D2D Express Settings.
- Select Change cut off times from the I want to drop-down.
- Type the correct Weekdays Cutoff Time and Weekends Cutoff Time for each OEM in the fields provided. This time should reflect the latest you can receive an order to be processed in time for your pickup. Note: Program participants should verify their latest FedEx pickup time before providing a cutoff time beyond 5:00 P.M.
- Select AM or PM from the drop-down options.
- Select your time zone from the My cutoff times are in drop-down box.
- Check the I observe Daylight Savings Time box if your area of the country observes Daylight Savings Time.
- Click Save.
To adjust your Dealer Delivery Radius:
Dealer Delivery Radius is used to define the distance a selling dealer is willing to travel to deliver a part to a buying dealer. Minimum distance requirements may apply.
Based on your application settings, all D2D Express orders received from dealers within a specified radius from your dealership will automatically be assigned with the Shipment method of Dealer Delivery. Orders in your local delivery area must be delivered by the close of business the following day. If needed, this radius can be adjusted.
Notes:
- This feature is not available to all OEMs.
- Changes to Dealer Delivery Radius may take up to two hours to take effect.
- From the D2D Express Overview, click Application Setup.
- Click D2D Express Settings.
- Select Change cut off times from the I want to drop-down.
- Change the Dealer Delivery up to box to the desired radius. The radius amount must be no less than or no more than the amount shown in red.
- Click Save.
- When complete, click the Back button at the top of the left-hand navigation menu to close.
