Handling ConsumerLink Pro Refunds

If a part or an entire order that you have collected payment for cannot be filled, you will need to issue a refund through PayPal. (ConsumerLink Pro does not allow you to process a refund.) PayPal allows you to issue a full or partial refund up to 180 days after you receive a payment. Note: Payments must have a Status of Completed, Pending, or Cleared in order to issue a refund.


To refund a PayPal payment:

  1. Log into your PayPal account.
  2. Click Activity.

  3. Click the payment you want to refund.
  4. Click Refund this payment.
  5. For Refund amount, type the amount you want to refund (you may have the option to refund a partial amount of the payment).
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Review your information to make sure you entered the correct refund amount and then click Issue Refund.
