EPCLink allows you to quickly swap out incorrect parts with a single click. No more copying and pasting parts between systems. Simply identify the correct part and use EPCLink to update your order. Note: This feature is currently only available for CollisionLink orders.

Swapping Superseded Parts
When EPCLink identifies that a part has been superseded, it will give you the option of swapping the requested part with the newer item.
To swap a superseded part:
- Verify the part that needs swapped is highlighted in the left-hand Parts List.
- Click the Swap icon for the part you wish to add to the order.
- A confirmation message will display and the old part will be replaced in the left-hand Parts List.
- Once you’ve returned to the order, the new part will display.
Note: Click the Undo link on the confirmation window or click the Swap (
) icon to restore the original part requested.
Swapping Parts With Other Callouts
In some cases, an incorrect part may have been sent over by your shop. EPCLink also allows you to easily identify the mistake and replace the part.
To swap parts from other callouts:

When reviewing the list of parts on the order against the section illustration in EPCLink, locate the correct part and click to select.
- The correct part will display in the Part Result section.
- Click the Swap icon to replace the part on the order.
- A confirmation message will display and the old part will be replaced in the left-hand Parts List.
- Once you’ve returned to the order, the new part will display.
Note: Click the Undo link on the confirmation window or click the Swap () icon to restore the original part requested.
